Stunning Shamanic Rattle with Earth Spiral, Sage, Amazonite and English Hazel wood handle handcrafted by us in our rural workshop. The bowl of this rattle is hand sewn and filled with Amazonite for heart chakra activation and Sage Spirit for cleansing and connecting. We have painted an Earth Energy spiral on one side and a growth symbol on the other. The handle is made from a beautiful piece of locally found Hazel wood.
Hazel brings love and creativity allowing a person to move beyond self-serving modes of existence. Hazel is the bringer of change. Hazel also promotes creative expression, eloquence, and art of all types. This was the most common wood used to create wands in the ancient Celtic traditions. Also used in magic spells for wisdom, creativity and intelligence.
Hazel being a sacred Celtic tree we have also burnt the Ogham symbol of coll on the piece for extra energy and protection.
We have left the natural bark on the handle and finished it with a little of our homemade lavender, beeswax and olive oil polish for protection, recycled leather fringe trim, cruelty free naturally molted feathers and vintage beads. Approx 36cm / 14" length.

We are very mindful to pay our respects to the animals spirit and ask for its blessing as it is reborn as a wonderful sacred object. Our rattles are made using goat hide which brings with it the spirit of this confident and balanced creature.
